Problem with SmartRipper

Hi, I don't know if this is the appropriate forum to post this message, but I don't know where else...

I'm experiencing some problems with my dvd rom (probably a bad flash or something) but it wont play the dvd...And smart ripper won't rip it, it just freezes...

My computer is networked with my girlfriend's, and she's also got a dvd rom, and the dvd plays just fine in hers...But she;s got no space on her hd...I wanted to save the rip through the network onto my computer, but whenever I try, Smart Ripper just tells me that there is no space available on the selected destination..So obviously it doesn't allow me to save on another computer...I was simply wondering, if there is a fix to this, or if there is another ripping program which would allow me to do this task,...Thanks...

try this:

open up windows explorer in your girlfriend's comp and locate your comp's hd, then right click and "map network drive"....your girlfriend's comp will think that your comp's hd is your girlfriend's comp's hd

try and rip

btw, on your comp's hd, make sure you right click and goto "sharing" and give full access and not just read-only
