Private Mail Button

How about a private mail button, along with the computer details, profile, email, quote, and edit buttons.

I would just assume replace e-mail with PM. As long as regular e-mail is listed in the profile I see no reason to have it on every post, but a PM button on every post would be very useful.

Maybe a pm button would be nice. Dont think you want to send email from our server...it never works...

I think that replacing e-mail with PM is good idea. Most of us don't publish our email address anyway (preventing spam).

There is nothing "wrong" with the way things are now, but there is always room for improvement. Go back 10 or 12 years we were all probrably quite happy with the PC's we had then, if everyone had decided there is nothing wrong with the way thing are now, we would all still be using 10MHz 286's with 1MB of ram and a 10 MB hard drive, this site would not exist, and we would not be discussing "whats wrong with the way things are now on this forum".

Things have to evolve or they die. Sometimes it's a very small step, sometimes its a giant leap. But if Baldrick had taken the attitude, "whats wrong with the way things are now" when he first came up with the idea for this site. VCDHELP.COM would not be what it is today.
