I realize that your request is somewhat open to interpretation but it seems fairly clear that you are talking about copywrited movies, in which case you are in violation of the rules of this forum. Please do not ask for warez or for information about how to obtain warez. If you are looking for legal movies to download try these links, they contain an incredibly large number of public domain movies.

  4. Adam's obviously right about the rules of this forum; which are there for a good reason - it would be tragic if this site was shut down because groups like the RIAA or whatever they're called started harassing Baldrick et al.. about copyright & piracy etc.. It has happened elsewhere, for example a very well known 'cover art' archive has recently had to withdraw and erase all of its audio CD covers.

The other thing is - and I'm not trying to be rude here - but how long do you think a site would last if it had "EXCELLENT.. full length movies.. [with] good quality picture and sound" available for free download?

For a start the cost of hosting big video files for download would be far too high for it to be a free service, and secondly if it were to offer copyrighted movies for download it would be shut down in weeks (if not days) by the 'powers that be' (see above).

There's a reason why napster & the other p2p communities which have flourished since napster's demise have the RIAA etc.. worried. There is nobody in particular for them to hold accountable for the copyright breaches these networks facilitate. Napster was actually shut down for just this reason - it had a 'central hub' where all the data about which nodes had which files available was held, whereas most of its successors are totally decentralised & therefore illusive in terms of anyone trying to regulate the communities or shut them down.

It's sort of ironic that this was - in a way - what the internet was first designed for; the US military started constructing ARPANET as a decentralised information network which could survive a 'lethal attack' on any one (or several) of its nodes without losing its functionality.

I'm not trying to give a lecture here (and as always, I'd welcome corrections if I've got my facts wrong), but the original question suggests that you don't really understand the underlying issues!!

Like I say - no offence intended, I'm just trying to offer a bit of background as to why you're unlikely to find what you're looking for maginniss.

    cheers,

    mcdruid.
