Hey guys, i've got a bunch of really newbie questions...
feel free to just answer the ones you know
I have two cables for video in..
One is like a long tube, its yellow
The other has a rounded edge which contains 4 small pins and a black square to one side.
What are these two cables called?
Which one is the best to use to capture video? Or do they produce the same quality?
If I was to capture in high resolution from both a small televion and a large television, will the large television have better quality than the small television?
Would using video out on a large television produce worse qualities than using video out on a small television?
Thanks!!

It sounds like that the yellow one is a composite cable and the other is an S-Video cable.
As for which is better, I would think S-Video if both your input and output devices support it. However, I suggest that you search the forum. There was a fairly recent in depth discussion about which one was better under what circumstances that was beyond my level of understanding.
