  1. Using Ifoedit I strip the movie out, but it is sometimes slightly bigger than 4.3 GB.
Is there any feature in Ifoedit that could reduce it a little more?
Sometimes it comes out between 4.4-5 GB. There is no way to burn that on DVD!

  2. If you've stripped everything out that ya don't want, subs, languages, etc..., and the main movie is still bigger than 4.3 gigs, afraid ya gotta encode it, or split to two dvd-r's

  3. Where can I find a good guide to encoding?
    I never did that?!

  4. actually, it would be "re-encode"... At a slightly lesser bitrate, just enough to make it fit.

If it's 4.5/4.6 you could strip out the ending credits and that might make it small enough. The end credits are typically 200-250MB's.
Use Vobedit to demux the last vob in the set. It will create a set of cell files, the last one is probably the credits. Delete it and remux the remaining cells with DV Tool back into a vob.
