    Hello,

im a newb when it comes to creating dvd videos and stuff. I was wondering where i can find a program that is pretty close to iDVD for the mac that will let me create chapters and maybe encode in the back ground and posibly burn it for me like iDVD does. I also tried using TMPGEnc but after it was done the video looked really bad. It was very grainey and blocky, also it was smaller that is normal size.

Right now im using Nero fully updated. and i hope that you will help me out

    Thanks

  2. TMPGEnc does wonders for my DVD video... maybe you used one of the VCD templates instead of the DVD ones?

Anyways, I'm not familiar with iDVD, but I would definitely recommend DVD Workshop by Ulead. Demo is available at www.ulead.com It handles everything from capturing, to authoring, to burning. A one-stop-shop. It will encode video for you, but I would really recommend capturing and encoding in different apps, and then bring in your MPG files for chapter and menu creation.
