Hi. I have an DIVX/AVI in NTSCFilm that I converted to XVCD 2000 CBR using TMPGenc. I used the NTSCFilm VCD template and then unlocked it to change the resolution to 640x480. When I play back the VCD in my Panasonic RV31 DVD player, the video seems choppy sometimes during fast motion. How do I get rid of that to get a smooth movie?
Could I convert this to NTSC to get a higher framerate?

Two possible problems.
(1) Your DVD player simply can't handle your XVCD settings (none are designed to I hope you realise)
(2) Your DVD player doesn't play back NTSC-FILM VCDs well.
It is hard to tell what the problem is if you have some many variables.
