DVD maestro accepts . m2v files created with TMPEGenc when you import them, and works ok handling them for authoring process, but when compiling I have an error: "Invalid framerate".
I compressed that stuff with the "DVD-PAL" template and later tried tweaking field and deinterlace setting, unsuccesfully. (of course always 25 fps)
anyone can help?
(i've tried CCraft and it gives good files for Maestro, but I'd prefer compressing with TMPEG if possible.
thanx!

I already used TMPGenc and never had any problems with DVDMaestro. Perhaps itīs because I use my own settings...
Use:
- 720x576 resolution
- MPEG-2 Video
- 25 FPS
- VBV=112
- Profile & Level=Main profile & Main Level
- Video Format = PAL
- Encode Method = Non-Interlace
all other settings are optional. If you use this, I donīt see what problems can be...
PS: if this doesnīt work, go to "GOP Structure" and enable "...(Close GOP)" 8) -
ok, i'll try that after lunch... but most of times I'm dealing with interlaced sources so I'll need interlaced mpeg2 output to keep framerate and resolution intact. (interlaced SVCD's created with TMPEG worked great, now we've bought a DVD-R...).

I got it!
It was not the video footage. It was a maestro bug compiling menus in dual processor machines. I only had to give DVD maestro afinity to only one processor and now it's all OK.
