hi all.. I've burned a VCD using Nero, but it can only played with DVD Software (I use WinDVD). If I try to open it using Windows media player or VCDCutter, it won't play. Media Player says that the format is not supported.
I just installed Win2000 Professional and using it now, but it has no problem playing the VCDs I had made using win98SE.
please help.. thanks

Sounds like MPEG2,
try opening it with Virtual Dub. If it wont open then it is more than likely MPEG2.
On the topic of VCD Cutter, In My experience using it, it seems to have very limited use for viewing VCD's anyway, is why I stopped using it. This might be fixed in a more recent version now I havent used it for a while.
