    HI all

    Just wanted to know what is a good capturing program. I use the one with my Pinnacle capture card, but it converts automatically to VCD, or SVCD, which I read somewhere reduces the quality. Is that true?If so please point me in the direction for a good program

    I would reccomend virtualdub.

    And yes you will get better results capturing to avi, then encoding to mpg with tmpgenc.
