can someone help me, i cant find any info about my player. it says right on the box that i can upgrade the firmware, so i'd like to do that, like my dads apex AD-1500, it was easy to find the firmware update to take off its macrovision.

I used the region code on my player (menu, 1,6,7, then select region) it worked but since my remote doesnt have mute i hit 0 and it said "all regions" so i'm guessing everything is fine there, it was able to play VCDs right out of the box, so i dont need to use a VCD enable code. it'll do slideshows for jpegs and play mp3s, since i cant find a weblink for my player vcdhelp wont let me post it in the player list i can send pics of the player and remote if anyone wants to compare them to other players, to see if this player has been released under another company name. i bought it at zellers

any info or help would be welcomed
