Hi everybody!
My machin runs for 2 weeks 24 hours a day but with no results I can use.
I use DVDX 2.0 to rip and convert Buffy 1. Season. Encoding with DVDX gives vbv buffer underruns and overflows. The SVCD (burned with Nero) runs on my DVD-player for about 30 seconds and then hangs up.
I tried with and without Premier-Plugin. Also I tried with DVD2SVCD with the same result.
Yesterday I coded 5 minutes AVI and WAV old style. Then uses TMPGEnc to encode to SVCD. The result was fine. But with the whole episode TMPGEnc gives an error (running out of scans...)
Can please anyone help me.
Thanx!!!!!
P.S.: I'm a german user and no good in english ;-)

underrun and overflow in the same encode ? very odd .. did you try jsut to set it on automatic and not withstanding that 112 for SVCD and 224 for DVD ? try automatic first ..
also are you sure you dont have a feed problem ? try playing the ripped files on your system - see if they play fairly smoothly or a lot of skips and jumps in the ripped files (before re-encoding).. -
Of course I first tried automatic (I'm a Newbie ;-).
The ripped files are playing well on my machine. No skips or jumps or sound problems.
The encoded files are also not playing well on my machine.
