Hi. Trying to master Aliens Special Edition.
I have these original files from the smartripper rip of this film.
VIDEO_TS.BUP/IFO/and small VOB. Only these needed for DVD standard I think.
VTS_01_0.BUP/IFO/0k VOB.
VTS_02_0.BUP/IFO/and original VTS_02_0.VOB containing menu. Movie VOBS were all VTS_02_x aswell.
I have the same of VTS_03 too but they not needed. I did delete a large VTS_01_0.VOB containing trailer/extras. My understanding being I didn't need it anyway and was too big.
My problem is I wanted to keep the original menu but after 3 tries I gave up. I am unsure of the method of re encoding the movie part and keeping the original menu. Except for the 'full copy' method which I don't need as I don't want the extras.
Is it possible, now I have the original IFO's etc and the new VOBS IfoEdit created from my re encoded movie stream, to keep the original menu. I can at least have it without but the original is nice. :P
Thanks in advance.![]()
