HELP! Need CD-r compatibility list for Fisher S1000.

Hello, im pretty new to this board, I bought my Fisher S1000 DVD Player last year ago. Recently I got into this VCD scene. I read my DVD manual and it claims to support VCDs. Someone recommened this site so i checked it out. I see that not all CD-rs work for this DVD player. Someone said RIOCH CD-rs work but i cannot find those cds in my area. I need help finding a CD-r that works with this DVD player. Plz HELP!!. I would return it but I guess its too late for that.

I'm afraid you're probably out of luck. I've got the same player and in my manual it says it doesn't work with any CDR. Repeated testing verified this for me... Sorry...

thanx man, i guess i can just sell this and get me an Apex. By the way, whats the quality on VCDs with an Apex DVD player? I saw a Apex AD-1500 DVD player for cheap($94). Was wondering if the quality sucks on VCDs since its so cheap?
