    I got a pioneer dvr105, I can burn pc data a treat with it in nero, but I wanna use prassi primo 2.0 and recordmax now so i can burn vobs I ripped with smartripper.It aint no secret Nero's not so hot for dvd's, but I cant get the other software to recognise the media in the writer. I've put the latest updates on them both, but can't get them grafting!
    I have tried numerous media, but it just won't have it, can anyone please help,

    Primo 2.0 with PxEnginUpdate358.exe worked for me.

    in the properties it says blank media, but the wizard asks for a blank cd, I put the update you mention on, but it still spits out the disk as you start to burn saying media error, I'm wondering now if its the actual media or the fact its the new pioneer and not fully updated for the software?
    I'll keep looking, but thanks for the tip
