I got this AVI of a DVD rip.. I ran TMPEn with the file and had no problems but the sound is off by like 4 secs from the video (I felt like I was watching a Godzilla movie). I then tryed a new method with cinema craft. When I tried converting the avi to mpeg I got a error saying I need a div3 codec. I then downloaded every codec I could find and no luck. I downloaded nemos, I downloaded divix 5 and no luck.
What am I doing wrong?![]()

and let me know your results. -
Well ill try that program. But Id rather use cinema craft because its rated the best of the best as far as conversion (on this site *click comparisions on left menu*). Anyone know how to get the div3 part fixed?

You can replace step 6 with Cinema Craft. Impotant is part before encoding. And I was reading somewhere here that those results are too old and new TMPGEnc is faster now. Who knows if quality is still better from CCE then from TMPGEnc. Only way to find out is to do your own test. You don't have to agree with everythuing that you can find hereOriginally Posted by kshack201
