can anybody help i riped black hawk down using smart ripper then done audio with dvd to avi and used tpmg to encode the movie after that i used unlead moviefactory to authour and burn to dvd.
the movie is good quality but as the film goes on the audio dropes behind am i doing somthing WRONG![]()

Denbo...I am having the same trouble....
I take an avi file decompress the audio using virtuladub....then load the avi and wav file into tmpgenc to make a mpg using the svcd ntsc format.....then author as a svcd and burn using ulead.........the audio and video are good for about 15 minutes after that the audio falls behind....so if you get a solution please let me know..........

Why not try to encode with DVDx after ripping instead of using TMPGenc. DVDx has a box to check for audio sync. You can fix this in TMPGenc also by clicking the setting tab then under advanced tab go to source range. There you will find a audio gap feature. All you really doing hee is adding a delay in the audio. Usually about -200 ms will do it. You will have to play with it to get the right numbers. Hope this helps.
