  1. I am trying to rip a DVD to SVCD, I looked it up in this website, it seems like the I need to buy some software before I can do that, is that true? Is there anyway I can do the conversion without for free? If there is, please tell me what kind of software I need to dl.

    Thanks

  3. Humm... Only Nero is one you will have to buy... Though many CD-Rs come with Nero, Adaptec or NTI.. Any of which can burn some nice VCDs!

Nero : Great all around proggie, but VCD menu kina sux
Adaptec :Advanced menu features for VCD, smokes Nero in that area
NTI : Nifty, but only use the NEWEST version, older versions will fart your OS!

    Good luck!
