    I have Win 95, and I am trying to play the .dat files in Win Media 6.4. I associated the file as described, and I get the filters error. I looked for the
    SCSI1HLP.VXD file, it is there. Any ideas?

    If you are running Windows 95 then this is probably an older and not very powerful system. Even if you get it to play, you will probably not like the result as the video and/or audio will probably skip or studder.
