I just got the Pioneer A05 burner and used their 4x dvd-r they sent, and it was great. The only thing is this. When you put the discs in to each respective drive, the VOB software comes up and I chose INSTANTCOPY,which brings up a box that has the "source" info on the left, and the "destination" on the right box. When I click on "start" it says it is "reading" the tracks, which it does this for 15-20 minutes. Then when it is done,it asks you if you want to "write" the tracks or "close".I click on "write" and from their it does it's 4x recording. So overall it really took me 30 minutes to burn a 60 min disc using a 4x disc, because of the double work it does..."reading" first, then "writing" later.
How do skip the "reading" part?I assume that is an important part of the process, but it defeats the purpose of having a 4x speed.
Anyone know what I am talking about..let me know what I am doing wrong.
Do you know if these 4x discs would be compatible to the A05?

Thanks in advance for the help!
