  1. I have used Eazy VCD software to convert a dvd to a mpeg file. Using easy cd creator i copied the mpeg to CD-R. the CD-R plays fine in all pc's i have tried but my dvd player (toshiba sd125e) that should play vcd's will not read the disk at all. the spec for my dvd says mpeg2 digital picture compression and mpeg2 5.1 surround sound.

    Have you any suggestions?

  2. Did you just copy the mpg file to a CDR? You can't do that. x(S)VCDs have a certain file format. Try burning your mpeg with VCD Easy, Nero, etc. (see the Author section to the left).

If that's not the problem make sure that you DVD player can read CDRs and/or VCDs. Check the DVD Players list to the left.
