A few questions from this newbee

Ok. My friend sent me the 3 cKy movies in mpeg format ( I think ;o) and I want to convert it to something I can watch on dvd. The probem is that i have a cd-rw, so can someone link me to a program that 1) converts to dvd 2) and how do I convert?


Also, I have Menikmati on divx and I wanna convert to dvd as well. The problem is that it doesnt fit on 2 disks, so about 5 minutes of it are on another cd. How do I put them together?

First off, Read some of the Guides that are offered here. They address most of your questions..

Also you stated that you have a regular burner(cd-rw), but you wanted to makes a dvd, I think ya mean make a cd that will play in a standalone dvd player,. the output will be VCD or Svcd.

In a nutshell though, to see if your Jackass Movies are really VCD ready load the mpegs into Vdub(virtualdub located in the tools section for download) and look at the file info. If it says somthing like 352x240 ya probably got a vcd ready mpeg, otherwise it must be encoded.
Another easy way is get ready to burn the file in nero using the vcd option, if it says that the file is not compliant, then its not ready for vcd.
You could burn it as is, and hope your player plays it, maybe its a Xvcd, or have nero encode it (takes awhile), or encode it in TMPG(TMPGenc located in the tools section for download)..

As far as DIVX is concerned read the guides on taking a avi file and converting it to VCD.


All this is stuff is talked about in the guides here, take some time to read em, also you can do this with all freeware tools if you choose..
