    DirectX 9 beta was released on the 11th. ATI also release a new set of Catalyst drivers to show off some of what DX9 can do.
    DirectX 9 installed without a hitch on my PC's with ATI vid cards ; however, failed on the PC's with Nvidia Geforce 2 mx, and Savage 4 .

    Is DirectX 9 beta only operating with ATI card?

    After the initial Radeon installation the capture drivers didn't report , but after a second reboot began to function.
