  1. Hello all,
From what I can see Vidomi DivX Encoder (www.vidomi.com) is an excellent encoder. To me, it's much superior than FlaskMPEG, rich in features, etc. Just wondering why there aren't much discussions going here? Is it as good as it looks?

    Just a curiosity ...

It is as good as it looks and as simple as it looks.

Most discussions here focus on TMPG and using 5 plus products to convert.

I think that it is so easy and straight forward that it doesn't make for many discussions.

Vidomi is the best thing I've used to rip DVD to DivX. Or take an mpeg and convert it over. It does a great job syncing up the audio and video, works with a bunch of different codecs, and lets you set the maximum size of the output, which I usually like to have fill up an 80 minute CD. Plus Vidomi's got a player to boot.

  4. Well, most people here convert from DivX to mpeg. If you're encoding DivX, as far as I'm concerned, it's Gordian Knot or nothing, it is really that good. Also, this don't fit in "advanced conversion".
