  1. I have not found this model on the list here.

    My guess it is an export model (since I live in Europe).

    Anyway, such a model is available here.
    Have a look at www.apport.com.

    The funny thing about this unit is the following:

    If two or three SVCD mpeg files are burned on a DVD media,
    OBS! burned as normal DVD-ROM (ISO) with Nero,
    they show up in a sort of "explorer" window on the TV.

    Then all one has to do is highlight the file and press "Play" and
    it plays just great.

    Does the other APEX models behave the same way?

    Yes, most do. My 2100 does this with MPG, JPG, MP3 and WMA files.
