I'm by no means an expert when it comes to using IfoEdit, but I have managed to successfully backup over a hundred movies employing the "Split to 2 DVD-R's" method.
However, for the life of me, I cannot discern what problem I'm confronting when attempting to burn the movie Dragonfly to 2 discs after splitting.
The results are always the same. The DVD-R cannot be read in my DVD Player (i.e. "Disc is Dirty") or I get the error code listed in the subject line.
When I open the VOB's on the DVD-R in IfoEdit, there are no contents. However, the movie files play fine on my computer via DVD2AVI, IfoEdit, and PowerDVD.
It doesn't appear to be a problem with the "Get VTS Sectors" as I ensure that this step is followed to a tee. Then, close down IfoEdit and re-open it to create the file image, which I burn with DVDMovie Factory. In addition, my VOB files are under 1GB.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?![]()
