ifo eidt questions regarding create new ifo files

hey here is waht i am doing
record of the loduss war disc 1
used dvd decrypter
ifo mode to extract each chapter (episode) indivually
so now i have
ifo bup and vob for all 6 episodes in six seperate directories
i use vobsplit to cut out the begining of each episode
then rename all of them so they are in order
vts 01 1 through vts 01 6
then put them all in one directory
open ifoedit and hit create ifo
it goes through reading all six then freezes?
left settings at default
i have also tried using the orginal
video ts and vts_ifo files
then use ifoedit hit get vts sectors no problem there
it gets the new ones
but when i try to preview with powerdvd it gives me an unknown file format error
and nero gives me a reallocation failed error if i was to try to burn

ya i get the reallocation failed error when burning with nero but it shouldn't matter. your stand alone dvd player still should be able to to play it if it is new. i have a old one that it about 4 years old and it won't play it but i have a newer one that it about 3 months old and it plays fine.
