  1. I recently had to reinstall everything and now Tmpg won't open Svcd mpeg2 files , I copy the Avseq01.mpg file over to the hard drive and Tmpg just says its an unrecognized format. I'm guessing its just a codec but I can't seem to find on that works. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  3. Hmm is there any other way , as I didn't have it installed before ( As I don't have a copy of it ) and it loaded them fine , any other suggestions ?

  4. use the mpeg2 plugin for tmpeg,
    you can download it from
    www.vcdhelp.com/tools

    if your using a older version of TMPGenc you can use the plug in above - if your using a newer version you must install ligos player or powerdvd ...

    even if you install the demo version of powerdvd -- that is enough ..

  6. OK I'll grab the demo version , it won't mess up Windvd will it ? cos thats what i have installed atm.

    no -- those two live fine together .... .. elecard codec seems to have problems ...

    i dont know which version of tmpgenc you are using but in settings (on the latest version) you should see mpeg2 decoder listed (after installing powerdvd) .. you may need to raise its priority though for me leaving it on 0 works fine ..
