Using DVD Decrypter and Smart Ripper

I'm not sure if this is trhe correct forum but I have been attempting to Rip from DVD Decrypter and Smart Ripper and the results I get are either with the french audio track, no audio track or when I play it back the commentaries are on the results. Is there a setting to Rip it in english without the commentaries ?

yes if youre ripping the movie be sure to check the stream processing...as u might not have the right audio streams selected

How can you tell which stream is associated with any paticular chapter? I unchecked many french streams and english subtitles and now some of the chapters have sound and some don't. I am attempting to rip Spiderman and there are about 12 streams but I don't know what each one does. Are there any tutorials that explain this?

You are making this difficult! Do the following:
1. Smartripper or DVD Decrytper
2. IfoEdit - VOB EXTRAS to strip off everything except ENGLISH and Dolby Audio.
3. Exit IfoEdit
4. IfoEdit and GET VTS_SECTOR to align everything.
5. burn NERO

There are plenty of GUIDES on this site to give the details.

Spider-Man start off at 5.5GB's. After doing the above process you end up with 4.3GB's which fits on 1 DVDr. I have done this!
