  1. Very Poor Picture, CD Squeels And Eventually Stops In my JVC Xv -S500BK

Is this because I go from movie.avi directly to VCD using Nero to encode and then burn?

What can I do to improve my video quality goog enough to eliminate a garbled picture?

Does TMPGEnc eliminate this problem? How? I used it. It takes a long time to encode to movie.mpg and then Nero take along time to encode the movie.mpg again from the TNPGEnc encode before burning.

Is there a quicker solution? What can I differently? I may some setting suggestions.

Look in the How-To section under newbies. That's way to much information your asking for. You really need to do some research and then come back and ask questions.

The very poor picture can come from a low bitrate or a poor source file (Crap in=Crap Out). CD Squeels is probably from a cheap CD-R that you bought.
