For a 1:1 of most games you'll need a DVDR drive. Some games are on CD, so for them you'll only need a CD-RW drive. And to create rips you'll need a DVD ROM and a CD-RW.

  3. Be careful we are talking about backups and not warez

  4. Naturally you are asking for making warez and since I'm in the gaming scene (Actually hombrew development if anyone cares) Let me address a few key issues to you

    1) There is no perfect modchip. 2+ years the Ps2 has not been cracked fully enough to allow that perfect mod. There have been a plehtora of hacks/mods to come through and yet there is no 100% universal solution

    2) Have fun playing copies because you will need a DVD-RW and a bunch of DVDrs....that isn't very "cheap" and economical.

Buy the damn game you turd. Your kind killed the Dreamcast because it was warezed so badly (That and misatkest by SEGA...advertsigin games that wouldn't sell well *cough* Space Channel 5 *cough* are problem that come to mind)

And many Ps2 games come with types of protection (All EA games defeat a lot of modchips...) and to play them you'll often need to OPEN up your ps2 and swap Cds. You just can't stick it in like withthe psx and the Dreamcast.

While I won't go into detail...that is all
