  1. What is AC3 sound? Is it dollby surround sound or Dollby Digital or something different? Can you put that on a VCD?

  2. AC3 is another name for Dolby Digital. The VCD spec does not allow for AC3 sound on compliant discs.

  6. So, the only real benifit to having Ac3 audio is that you will have a better quality wav file when you convert it seeing as though all players dont play the format? Am I understanding this properly?
