when i output long vids (10+ mins, any format) to my tv only the top half of the video is visible in the bottom half of the media player/quicktime/real media window e.g. it looks like the video has slipped halfway down inside the window. shorter clips play fine. any ideas? im running windows2000, divx4

It actually depends on the version of the Detonator drivers you have. However, for both, on the initial playing, you have to set the monitor resolution to 640x480 to match your tv (I think it's 800 x 600 if you're PAL).
Anyways, with the older Detonator driver, it'll remember that setting every other time you play video to your tv (regardless of the setting on the monitor. For the later drivers, it won't remember (and I sometimes get really strange errors too).
