does the quality of cd audio become dodgy at 48000 khz
i am making a video that needs to be exported to dv tape
and want to put music in
but cd audio is 44100 khz and im not sure if it will be affected
very much
advice please

It will be fine if you use a decent quality sample rate converter. Shibatch sample rate comverter (ssrc.exe) is generally considered to of pretty good quality and IIRC is available in the tools section. It can also be integrated within Tmpgenc if that is the encoder you are using.

Its a dos app. Just open a command window, Change directory to wherever you have it stored and type 'ssrc'. It will give you a list of parameters and settings.
