  1. Hi

I cleaned out my computer today and I must have accidentaly deleted something important. When I try to open a .d2v file in TMPGEnc, it says it is unsupported. What needs to be installed again to make it work?

    Thanks!

  2. you need the vfapi plug in for tmpgenc. download it and install into the same folder.

  3. Am I right in thinking that that is a .zip file? If so, I installed it into the TMPGEnc folder and ran the MS-DOS batch file to register it, but it still doesn't work.

I do have a file in the TMPGEnc folder called "DVD2AVI.vfp" - I don't know if that's important or not...

    Thanks

  4. Heh - it was the .d2v files at fault, not TMPGEnc or VFAPI!

When I cleared everything it must have reset something and the .d2v file got "lost", and so it was not recognised. I don't know, but it works now.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Lesson learned.

    Thanks

  6. Hi,

I've just re-ghosted my PC and have the same problem. What did you do in the end to sort it out? I've uninstalled TMPGEnc and re-installed it but with no luck.

The .d2v file is there but isn't seen by TMPGEnc. Ive checked the settings in DVD2AVI, and the only other thing I can think of is that the ripping process somehow isn't working correctly.

Did you have to re-install any software to get things working again?
