Anyone know how to get rid of the thick white bar that comes up 'occassionally' when recording in WinDVR 2. I am converting my wifes' work out VHS tapes to DVD-R. When I record using winDVR 2 a white bar will pop up, sometimes for 10s sometimes for 3min, no ryhtme or reason, even on the same tape recording the same spot. I believe it may have something to do with macrovision, but then I can't understand why the bar goes away after 10s to 3min?
From previous threads I found a solution "I went and got the 1.08 wdm drivers from nvidia, the white bar is gone". I really hate to use an old driver especially since my vid card is quite new. Not to mention not being able to use all the newer drivers. Anyone else found a solution to this problem other than swithcing to an older driver?
