i've recently been installing a bunch of "grey market" software..
and i noticed a huge amount of bandwith leaving my comp, and i wasnt doing anything..
so i restart.. same thing.. i havent started any applications, and i dont have any autorunning.. and its not windows update, because i've customized my services..
then windrv.exe crashes and it has a little "irap more" i-mac looking icon.. and that instantly raises my suspicions.. so i search my harddrives and i find it in the windows/system32 directory...
i did a google search and i was able to find this.. http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojintera.html
i got rid of the virus.. but i'm still wondering where it came from.. i got a little bit of info on the file.. apparently i contracted it on halloween..
anyhow, you might want to check this out on your system..

My guess is that it was thrown in as a part of that "grey market" software you downloaded. Do you run a firewall? Cause if you did, it could have told you what program was using the net and you could tell it to shut it off from outside access.

or....if yo had a program like Roxio Go Back....you could just revert your hard drive back to before you got it
