Comcast is billing me for 2 premium channels I do NOT recieve. THis has been going on for 6 months, and every time we call, they say they are going to fix the problem but they don't
Now they are threatening to cut off service and trash our credit rating.
Will filling with the Cable Comissioner do anything?

It's worth a try greg..meaning contact the cable commisioner...
ask Adam...hes a lawyer (in training) -
Also..
Contact your attoney general's office. They generally have a consumer fraud bureau. They write a mean letter and things generally get done quick.
Some other things to note...
If they report it to your credit repot they are bound by the fair credit reporting act ( look it up ). This will give you several avinues of appeal.
Don't just call, write. Letters are your best form of defence. Once they are written you can go down to your insurance office and get a certified copy ( most do it for free or a small charge ). Send your letter certified return receipt that way you have a record of when it was send and when they received it. Make notes of every time you call them and they call you. Make a list from memory NOW of every contact and include it in the next certified letter you send to them.
