    Need to know if its powerdvd or the video card driver refusing to do this.
    Card is a sis305 /w tv-out

    I believe it is a hardware lockout - the same happens to me. I have a Samsung DVD SD-612. The way I got around this was to install TV Tool - search for it in Google though it isn't freeware. If there is another way around this I'd like to know too! (I'll be keeping an eye on this thread).
