DVDIt project too big??

Hi. I'm using DVDit! PE. The mpg I have is 3.56 gigs. I created 2 menus. One is "Play" which plays the whole movie and one is "chapters" which goes to the 2nd menu with a bunch of chapters in it. When I was ready to burn, I went to Build | Make DVD Disc. It tells me my project is 9.25 gigs! There seems to be something fishy about that. I notice that under the "movies" section, I have 2 of the same movies in there. It seems like the chapters part uses one and the "Play" all part uses the other. This doesn't seem to make sense. I must've done something wrong. Can someone explain how I can fix this or do this right?

i would look to see if its rencdoing the audio to pcm if it is pcm audio is way bigger than ac3 or divx 2 to 3 times bigger to be exact .
