Your going to have to supply something more specific than 'having a problem'.

You said it wouldn't let you. Do you recieve an error?

  7. I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't figure this out. I have downloaded the GUI and BeSweet zips. Perhaps I don't know what "azid", "lame 1" and all those other things mean. When it asks me for the "location" of those particular files, I don't know what to do. Am I supposed to download them from somewhere too? So I click on the "Besweet" selction and name the location of that (I know where that is). Then I take a test wav file from an old game I have as an input and set the output file to "test.wav" I click "wav to wav" and a MS-DOS window comes up. The first time today it said "this is a command line interface program" and the last time I did it, it just crashed.

You need to download each of the applications that you want to use with the GUI. Use the tools section at the left to find them. I only use the TooLame, SSRC, and BeSweet.

The error you saw sounds like you may have the wrong version of BeSweet. Download the latest from the Tools section to the left, or check them out at www.doom9.org in the downloads section.

actually, if you download Besweet and the GUI, it will come bundled with .dll files for azid, and lame. you will just need to fire up the GUI,
set your input file, set your output file type, and then if you're doing mp2 for (S)VCD, under the SSRC tab, check change sampling rate to 44100, under one of the lame tabs(2lame?) check add error protection, and change your bitrate there, and if you want to change to joint stereo or something else, and then back on the BeSweet tab, press "wav to mp2" I believe it is.
    it's not too bad.
check out the guide over at doom9.org

    --added:
    oops
the GUI doesn't come w/the .dll's--you need the actual besweet program, and that's what comes bundled w/dll's for lame and azid...
--sorry, it's been a while since I installed besweet
