I am trying to backup The Matrix to 2 DVDs with out menus, etc--just the movie. Here is what I have done. I used Smartripper selecting the files option and checking all files. I then located the main movie files and used ifoedit 94 to split to 2 DVDs stripping the extra audio stream leaving the AC3 6 chanel intact. After this I went into the subfolders and deleted the ifo files. Next, I used ifoedit's create ifo function to make new ifo's in each folder. Then I did the Get VTS sectors and saved the ifo's. Finally, I used Nero to burn to 2 seperate DVD's. Up until now, this procedure has work for all DVD's I have had to split. But when I try to play disk 1 of The Matrix in my Set top JVC, it pauses at the end of each chapter. You can skip ahead to a new chapter, but finally the JVC will just eject the disk. I thought the media might be defective, so I burned another disk 1 and got the same result. By the way, disk 2 play fine! Anyone have any ideas here? :P
