  1. Does MultiRegioning a player with remote hackable codes make it able to play copied DVDs? Thanks!

  2. NO

DVD-R is regionfree anyway (if not burned on Authoring media) as encryption has to be removed prior burning. Uncapability to read DVD-Rs is issue of (mostly) laser head and/or firmware (rare).

  4. Try reading the answer already given:

Not all DVD players can read DVD-r or DVD+r media

The DVD players link to the left has a database of what players accept what media. It is always player-specific, you can't generalize for all DVD-R. Also of note is that some DVD players will play DVD-R media but will not play all brands well.
