I have 2 toshiba SD 5000 2x DVDr drives. It takes almost an hour to burn a full 4.3 GIG DVDr. I thought 2x drives were supposted to burn a whole disk in 30 minutes. I have tried using NERO and Prassi and both are around the same time. ...and yes I have set them to burn at 2X. NERO even claims the drives can burn at 2.9X.

Is the media you are using rated at 2X burn speed? Sorry if the question is asking th obious.
