I have a Hauppauge WinTV USB cap card.
The tuning software that comes with it (WinTV 2000), keeps on muting the audio stream at random. Sometimes the audio will play for a few minutes, or sometimes it will only last a few seconds. If I hit the mute button (or move the volume slider) on the WinTV 2000 panel, it starts again. It will then carry on muting at random.
I have a cable running from the audio out socket on my USB card, into the Line In socket on my Sound Blaster Live card. In the sound recording panel in WinXP I have Line In checked. I have also tried this on 2 different PC's (both WinXP and SB Live card)
Anyone have any idea why it keeps on muting itself?
Thanks.
