Virtual Dub locks up at frame 9995

Anybody else have this problem? Vdub locks up when I'm trying to compress a raw AVI file (30 gigs) using divx low motion and resize to 320x240. Locks up at the same place every time, frame 9995.

BTW, It did go through one time, which is the wierd thing. But usually not.

Hmm I guess it's something to do with the audio since I did direct stream copy and it worked.

I was having this exact same problem. It has something to do with MP3 codecs. I fixed it by de-activating all my current MP3 codecs and loading the Lame MP3 codec. Since then it's worked fine.

Oh. Had that problem, and I noticed that with no sound (on a first pass of a VBR, where I didn't bother encoding audio too) everything was ok. Oh well. Encode sound by hand and remux will do it I guess then. Thought it was just me for a second Good luck to all.

It seems to be caused by some mp3 codecs conflicting. I removed one and everything turned out ok. Good luck to all.
