I now have a DVD writer and would like to capture to one file.I understand that Win98SE has a 4Gb file limit.Would Partition Magic allow me to have a NTFS partition on my second Capture hard drive while running Win98SE.I dont want to have to upgrade to Win2000 or XP if at all possible.![]()

No you can make a NTFS Partition with Partition Magic but win98SE won't bee able to read or write to it. So you have to upgrade to 2000 or XP.

Partition Magic will let you have an NTFS partition anywhere you want. Problem is, Win98 will not read from it nor write to it. There are special apps out there to let you read from NTFS, but last I checked, they wouldnt let you write to it.
If you want single files > 4GB you will have to upgrade to Win2000 or XP.
