  1. I got LG3315. I burn VCD from bin\cue and I get one of those problems:

    1. I cant see the movie at all but the time display is working but not normally. The secs are jumping forward\toward all the time. Also, no sound at all.

    2. I can see and hear the movie. But, it always jumps forward\toward making it unwatchable.

All the VCDs are played perfect on my pc.
The DVD recognize the VCD as VCD 2.0, if it may help.

    What should I do?
BTW I use ACER 20x10x40 CDRW.

    Please help... Thanks.

Have you checked that your DVD supports CD-R and/or CD-RW? The fact that it supports VCD doesn't necessarily mean that it does. Try a CD-RW, that's more "compatible" with factory made CDs!

  3. There is a difference between home made VCDs and manufactured ones. Manufactured ones are the ones that DVD player supports if it says it supports VCD 2.0. For home made VCD you need to look if your player supports CDR or CDRW, if it doesn't - you're out of luck. Sometimes, however, you can cheat your DVD player by testing different brands of CDR and burning on the slowest speed, which might work in spite of the fact that manual says it is not supported. For example, Samsung DVD511 will play VCD burned on Vivastar blue dye type CDR if burned at 4 times speed of slower - each player has different cheats that might work. 4. The DVD supports 74min CD-R and CDRW. I used 74min CDRW to play mp3 files with the DVD player and it works fine. I didnt try to burn VCD over CDRW only over CD-R, few types and it didnt work good. Is it possible that with CDRW VCD it will work fine??

  5. Most of the time CDRW will be more compatible with DVD player than CDR due to the fact that data is burned differently to CDRW, which usually is more within the range DVD player supports than CDR. So, try burning the same file onto CDRW with slow speed and see if that makes any difference.

    Please post your results.

    Regards.
