Is there a way I can bypass the macrovision?
I am burning from a dvd-rom to a burner on a pc. Is there software or a chip I can get?
Any and all help is much appreciated.

Have you checked the various ripping guides available here? They seem to work without involving Macrovision at all. Macrovision is normally only found when you're working with analog video - i.e., when you're taking the video out from a DVD player and putting it into the video in of a capture card or a VCR.
If you should be using that video process (which is unlikely) you can get "macrovision eliminators" from places like eBay. Or you can do what I do, and take the DVD player down to the TV station where you work, and put it into a $10,000 frame synchronizer.
Otherwise, you might want to examine the ripping programs down in the "Tools" section.Animation and geeky reviews and podcasts at

Thanks for the suggestion, I checked out some of the guides.
I was really wondering if there was something I could use to bypass the macrovision for a streaming burn in stead of going through the motions of ripping and recompiling the data. I can do direct copies of DVDs using the streaming burn so I am trying to find a way to do this with Macrovision discs if there is one.
