  1. hi, i have a avertv studio capture card, and i can't capture at any video size larger then 320x240, this sucks because then i can't do any svcds. i'm trying to capture with virtualdub, any help would be appreciate, thanks.

    read this guide first. this will help you get as good of quality possible but feel free to change to a codec you have experience with. post any specific questions back if you need more help.

  3. that's not the problem tho, my main problem is that i can't choose to capture at a higher setting then 320x240. i would like to capture at 480x480.

    i have the avertv stereo card and i can capture at a 352x480 you will need the btwincap drivers for it at http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/

    Hi
    I have the AverTv Studio card. I can capture at 720x576
    I use the latest Avermedia drivers for XP everything is running sweet. I have tried the btwincap drivers and had poor results. Try another PCI slot I know others have had problems in certain PCI slots.

    i have win2k can i use xp drivers for my avertv stereo card? or will it mess up?

    Hi
    Can't help there as I had XP when I installed the card . I have never used this card with 2k1. My advice would be to upgrade to XP Pro SP1 it is just as stable as 2k1 and more compatible with software being produced at the moment. It runs a lot of old games that Win2k1 doesn't .
    And it looks nice and has some good new features.
